Alors qu\u2019elle a largement ouvert ses acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019afflux touristique depuis un certain nombre d\u2019ann\u00e9es, la Tha\u00eflande entreprend aujourd\u2019hui de d\u00e9velopper une nouvelle source de revenus. Pour cela, elle encourage ses agriculteurs \u00e0 se lancer dans la culture de chanvre m\u00e9dical. Il s\u2019agit ici d\u2019une d\u00e9cision prometteuse, car le chanvre est une plante tr\u00e8s facile \u00e0 cultiver, et dont les bienfaits sont multiples\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Une nette d\u00e9mocratisation du chanvre et de sa culture<\/h2>\n

Selon Traisulee Traisoranakul, la porte-parole adjointe du gouvernement\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Tout le monde a le droit de cultiver du\u00a0cannabis m\u00e9dicinal\u00a0en s\u2019associant avec des h\u00f4pitaux provinciaux\u00a0\u00bb. Elle pr\u00e9cise n\u00e9anmoins que les personnes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es par la culture de chanvre devront pr\u00e9alablement obtenir le feu vert des autorit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Traisoranakul stipule \u00e9galement que jusqu\u2019\u00e0 aujourd\u2019hui, environ 2500 m\u00e9nages et 250 h\u00f4pitaux provinciaux ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 cultiv\u00e9 15\u00a0000 plants de cannabis. Selon elle, le gouvernement a bon espoir que le cannabis<\/a> (et plus particuli\u00e8rement le chanvre), deviennent les principales cultures commerciales pour les agriculteurs dans un futur proche.<\/p>\n

En pratique, les agriculteurs ont donc la possibilit\u00e9 de cultiver du chanvre m\u00e9dical chez eux, avant de le revendre aux h\u00f4pitaux locaux. Parall\u00e8lement, il faut noter que les licences autorisant \u00e0 cultiver du cannabis sont \u00e9galement disponibles pour les universit\u00e9s, les entreprises communautaires, les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 et de la m\u00e9decine traditionnelle, etc.<\/p>\n

Un assouplissement de la l\u00e9gislation en vigueur<\/h2>\n

Au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, la Tha\u00eflande a choisi de retirer certaines composantes du cannabis et du chanvre de sa liste de stup\u00e9fiants, ce qui a permis de faire sensiblement avancer les choses. Elle avait d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 autoris\u00e9 le cannabis m\u00e9dicinal fin 2018, en d\u00e9veloppant depuis un programme tr\u00e8s complet relatif au cannabis th\u00e9rapeutique, qui peut \u00eatre prescrit par les h\u00f4pitaux, ainsi que par les m\u00e9decins classiques ou traditionnels.<\/p>\n

Ind\u00e9pendamment de cette avanc\u00e9e l\u00e9gislative, le gouvernement Tha\u00eflandais vient tout juste d\u2019autoriser la culture de chanvre pour toutes sortes d\u2019usages, qu\u2019ils soient d\u2019ordre commercial, m\u00e9dicinal, scientifique, ou m\u00eame culturel. Ainsi, les personnes disposant d\u2019une agr\u00e9gation en bonne et due forme peuvent d\u00e9sormais proc\u00e9der \u00e0 la culture et \u00e0 la transformation de toutes les parties du chanvre\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Il convient \u00e9galement de noter qu\u2019il est possible de r\u00e9clamer un permis d\u2019exportation de chanvre, et que des graines pourront \u00e9ventuellement se faire importer dans le pays au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es. Entre temps, la Tha\u00eflande se consacre \u00e0 la culture de ses propres vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de cannabis, que ce soit dans un but industriel ou m\u00e9dical.<\/p>\n

Bon \u00e0 savoir\u00a0: <\/u><\/em><\/strong>La France est le deuxi\u00e8me producteur mondial de chanvre apr\u00e8s la Chine. Sa culture recouvre actuellement 8000 hectares de terrain, mais il est limit\u00e9 \u00e0 un usage exclusivement industriel.
