{"id":1527,"date":"2019-04-30T13:05:53","date_gmt":"2019-04-30T13:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/natureight.com\/cbd-and-aging\/"},"modified":"2019-05-02T16:51:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-02T16:51:20","slug":"cbd-and-aging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/natureight.com\/en\/the-word-of-dr-pedraza\/cbd-and-aging\/","title":{"rendered":"CBD and aging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CBD\u2019s antioxidant effect is another of its interesting properties in terms of prevention and health maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>This (antioxidant) effect, together with its anti-inflammatory properties, has made CBD into one of the most interesting therapeutic weapons that can be used to maintain the body\u2019s cells in good health, thereby delaying their natural aging process.<\/p>\n<p>CBD\u2019s antioxidant effect on brain cells was demonstrated in a study of CBD\u2019s neuroprotective effect on neuronal damage caused by alcohol abuse (Hamelink C et al., 2005).<\/p>\n<p>The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect of CBD has also been demonstrated in the kidneys, where CBD acted as a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, reducing the damage caused by the induced and controlled reduction of blood flow performed in this study (Fouad AA et al., 2012).<\/p>\n<p>CBD\u2019s positive interaction and synergy with the active ingredients of some plants have also been studied.
